Holmes Hotel finial upgrade
Workmen removed the acorn finial at the peak of the Holmes Hotel in Uptown Westerville Wednesday to use as a pattern to build a copper replacement.
The old finial leaked and had been patched numerous times even using a section of 2×4 lumber to prop up one edge.
