Uptown Deli hints at opening menu
The first item in the new Uptown Deli and Brew menu and three of the local brews hint at the opening day celebration where the more than two year process for rebuilding the old feed store into a restaurant .
Holmes Hotel finial upgrade
Workmen removed the acorn finial at the peak of the Holmes Hotel in Uptown Westerville Wednesday to use as a pattern to build a copper replacement.
The old finial leaked and had been patched numerous times even using a section of 2×4 lumber to prop up one edge.
City buys Book Harbor, begins landscaping
City crews begin clearing overgrown vegetation and removing dead ash trees from the old Book Harbor house on West College just off State Street. The site fell into disrepair when the book store owner died.
