A grandfather and grandson watch as heavy equipment begins excavation of the Northstar Cafe location on the edge of Uptown Westerville.
Northstar Cafe’s construction began this morning with heavy equipment removing topsoil so it can be returned once construction of the restaurant is complete. Next phase includes hauling away dirt to build a hole for the foundation of the building adjacent to the large Norway Spruce on the property.
Carpenters build a shelter at the front of what will become Shirley’s gourmet Popcorn in Uptown Westerville. The shelter shields pedestrians from construction to replace the store’s facade and front entrance.
