Cold weather affects Uptown
Westerville police officer Mike Beekman patrols past the frost covered windows of Westerville Antiques as he makes his morning rounds on one of the coldest days of the winter. Several stores in Uptown closed early when the frigid cold and brutal wind frosted windows, threw doors open, and kept customers at home in their warm rooms.
Christmas Star season ends
The Christmas Star at State and Main is lowered to the ground signaling the end of the season in Uptown Westerville. Still, Uptown merchants have close-out specials on seasonal items that certainly make a trip to the center of Westerville a necessary trip.
