Construction Update – September 24, 2014

A brewer at the Uptown Deli and Brewery prepares one of the brewing tanks for its first batch of craft beer.

There are significant changes coming soon to Uptown Westerville.

A brewery.

An upscale restaurant in the State Theater.

A Greek-Italian restaurant.

Facade changes.

A new jewelry store.

All within a two block section of Uptown.

Koblè, the Greek-Italian restaurant, will soon open next to Graeters.

The jewelry store will open in one of the storefronts at the entrance to the State Theater which is being rebuilt as 8 State Bistro, an upscale restaurant that wants to open by the end of the year.

The Uptown Brewery and Deli’s brewers are making the final preparation to begin brewing for the Temperance Row Brewing Company at the rear of the Deli.

The facades of the buildings for A Gal Named Cinda Lou and Talbot’s Flowers are being renovated to better match their original architecture as part of the city’s facade improvement program.

A carpenter installed molding inside the jewelry store being built in one of the storefronts next to the State Theater.

Workers replace windows, soffitt, and molding on the facade at A Gal Named Cinda Lou and Talbot’s Flowers.

Tile from the entrance hall at the State Theater are collected for recycling by an artisan in Uptown.
